I wish I had the time or energy to actually write these days. Most of my time is spent stalking the pregnancy and baby tags to get ideas for my little man when he comes. :) Maybe once he comes I’ll do a little something… use this as a place to collect pictures for everyone who wants to see him but can’t in person. Only 60 days left until my due date…stuck between freaking out and impatient to meet him.
Funny how this used to be a weight loss blog, and now a year after the start of that, it is now a clean slate - and a pregnancy blog! It takes me awhile to get into the flow of things when it comes to starting a new blog… a case of “so much to say but I don’t know where to get started”! Here’s a little survey to get things started. :)
1. What is your name?
Renee. 2. What is the fathers name? Evan. 3. How old are you now? 23. 4. How old were you when you got pregnant? I turned 23 4 days before. 5. How old is the baby’s father now? 21. 6. How old was he when you got pregnant? 21. 7. How did you get pregnant? Sex? How else? 8. Did you consider abortion? If so, what made you decide to keep the baby? No, we were NTNP. 9. Did you consider adoption? Nope! 10. Once the baby was born, how did you support the baby financially? I am currently working retail and just snagged a job as a hospital registrar… I hope to work both until it gets to be too much and then stick to the hospital until I need to go on maternity leave. So far my pregnancy has been an absolute breeze, I hope it continues that way. (Knock on wood) 11. Is/was the father still in the baby’s life? Of course! 12. Did you and the baby’s father get married? No, we are engaged and plan to have a small ceremony before baby comes. I would like to have the same name as the child, I went my whole life with my mom having a different last name, and I hated it. 13. If you and the baby’s father did not get married, is he paying child support? Yeah, of course he would. 14. Have you graduated from high school or are you currently enrolled in high school/GED program? Yes, I graduated in ‘07. 15. Have you graduated from college or are you currently enrolled in college? I am taking the year off… I have 1 year left. 16. In retrospect, do you think it was all for the best or do you wish you could have had your child when you were older? I am very excited. I wish we were more financially stable, but we are working on things. 17. In retrospect, if you wish you could have waited to have your child when you were older, when do you think is the more ideal time to have kids? I wish we had a better home and more money, but we are as prepared as it’s going to get right now!
